Location: On our property at Rockleigh
Straw-necked Ibis (Threskiornis spinicollis) (4) Straw-necked ibis have been
spotted during the last 3 or 4 weeks while we have been driving to or from our
place, or out in nearby roads seed-collecting. This is roughly over the eastern
hills and out towards the Murray plains, and we have seen groups of up to 10.
Today was the first time they have been seen flying over our property, and 3 of
them landed briefly. (Species 56 !)
