3 birds still viewable from the eastern side (mostly distant) look west from Behms Road.

Male and fantastic female close to the road this afternoon. Good views through a scope.

Three birds feeding in the moist depressions across the airfield created by the rain the night before. Very easily approached and difficult to move!

c20 moving South 11 am.

Australian Painted Snipe, Cotton Pygmy Geese Rosewood Wetland, Bremer Road
Male Australian Painted Snipe giving prolonged views on muddy edges at the north end of the wetland. No sign of second bird. Also 8+ Cotton Pygmy Geese.

Thu 1 Dec White-throated Nightjar Brooyar State Forest Gympie
Single bird flushed around 4pm about 1km back from the Glastonbury camping area and up the hill near a crossroad (entry via Wide Bay Road, 12km north of Gympie). Bird about 2 metres to rear left when flushed and flew slowly by before landing some 75metres away (relocated, then left alone) - no doubt re ID as I was in the area specifically to locate this species.
