Published sightings for the week ending 16 Oct 2011.

Sun 16 Oct Pallid Cuckoo, Shining Bronze-Cuckoo, Dollarbird, Leaden Flycatcher, White-necked Heron Campbell Park
The migrants have returned with 1 Pallid Cuckoo, 3 Shining Bronze-Cuckoo seen and at least a further 6 heard. Leaden Flycatcher (3) 2m, 1f and one White-necked Heron on the farm dam.

Intermediate Egret and 2 Sharp-tailed Sandpiper still on the swamp. 3 Royal Spoonbills flew over.

Fuscous Honeyeater, Rufous Whistler Kama reserve
Fuscous Honeyeater had just had a bath in the creek and spent about 10 mins preening. From the photos I took at was a young non breeding bird, The (female) Rufous Whistler was quite high up in a eucalypt it didn't give the impression collecting food.
