Subject: [Birding-Aus] ID Help with Alice Springs wader

G’day everyone.

I’m hoping for some help with a pair of unfamiliar waders that were down at the
Alice poo ponds this afternoon, one with an orange leg flag.

The picture is here; http://comebirdwatching.blogspot.com/p/id-help.html

I’m leaning towards Red Knot for both birds, but I’d just like confirmation
from the experts out there that both birds are the same species.

Cheers,

Chris Watson
