Black-shouldered Kite
Kama Nature Reserve
One Black-shouldered Kite observed carrying nesting material into a Blakelys red gum. Overall a good day for raptors with 2 Brown Falcons, 5 Nankeen Kestrels, 2 Brown Goshawks and a Collared Sparrowhawk

Kelly's Swamp & Jerrabomberra Wetland, Fyshwick
The first Latham Snipe of the season and a morning of herons with one Great Egret, five Cattle Egret and three White-faced Herons.

A Barn Owl being chased by Australian Magpies and Pied Currawongs, at the western end of the Pinnacle nature reserve (at the end of Dungowan St, Hawker)
