Tue 24 May Western Whipbird, Noisy Scrub-bird,Western Bristlebird Cheyne Beach, Western Australia
Had decent views of Noisy Scrub-bird and Western Bristlebird in the area around the Caravan Park/headland at Cheyne Beach on a rather wet morning. Both species were calling well (at times). No signs or sounds of any Western Whipbird (my target) in almost 3h there but I stopped at some spots on the way back out and - on a rise not far past the turn off to the rubbish tip, heading back to the highway - I heard a Whipbird calling and then was able to track it down. Red-eared Firetails in the same area.
