Christmas Beetles

Hello everyone hope you all had a good Christmas. Sorry for the non bird 
question and this is directed mostly to Sydneysiders. The number of Christmas 
Beetles appears to me to have dropped drastically over recent years. Most times 
you would get up in the morning and see them strewn around the patio and under 
the windows where they had been attracted by the lights,nowadays I'm lucky to 
see more than a couple, are you finding the same thing?
