The following is a digest of Sightings Reported on Birdpedia for the period 
Monday, December 20, 2010 to Sunday, December 26, 2010:

Area: SA

Date: Sunday, December 19, 2010

Location: Dry Creek N.F.R.

Powerful Owl (Ninox strenua) (2) 2 individuals calling from dense 
Eucalyptus/Blackwood forest, just before dark.

Red-tailed Black-Cockatoo (Calyptorhynchus banksii) (7-10) Small flock settling 
into roost site about 300 metres from the Powerful Owls.Not sure of exact 
number, between 7 and 10 birds.

Location: Telford Scrub Conservation Park

White-bellied Cuckoo-shrike (Coracina papuensis) (1) One calling from 
Stringybarks along the centre track,just past the boardwalk.

Location: Port Willunga

Banded Stilt (Cladorhynchus leucocephalus) (40) A group of about 40 birds was 
observed flying in a southerly direction. Settling briefy on the ocean (little 
waves) and then continuing their journey.

Date: Monday, December 20, 2010

Location: Princess Margaret Rose Campground,Lower Glenelg N.P.

Red-tailed Black-Cockatoo (Calyptorhynchus banksii) (2) 2 flew over the caves 
area.

Olive Whistler (Pachycephala olivacea) (2) Frequently heard near the 
campground.1 emerged about 3 metres from me and called before vanishing into 
the undergrowth.

Southern Emu-wren (Stipiturus malachurus) (3+) Several in reeds and Meleluca 
heath along the Glenelg River south of the jetty.

Rufous Bristlebird (Dasyornis broadbenti) (3) Calling in the early morning,and 
seen foraging along the edges of the bushland surrounding the campsite.They 
were also heard at several locations throughout the park.

Stayed here between Saturday 18th-Monday 20th.Great place to stay,with 
excellent forest habitat surrounding the campground and the river within 200 
metres!Other interesting species include Pied Currawong and Striated Fieldwren 
among young pines/African Daisy in the Rennick Forest,500 metres to the north.
