Hi birders Sunday morning I saw and photographed a lorikeet that at first looked like a Scaly-breasted from behind. Then as I got a different angle on it, it had markings like a rainbow, but not as rich. Is it possible that the two species hybridse? See image: http://amatteroflight.com/gallery2/d/4589-1/Rainbow-Lorikeet_8809.jpg Kind regards Akos =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
