My big trip finished with a couple of days in Tasmania. Highlights as follows:

Peter Murrell Reserve - Forty-spotted Pardalote, Spotless Crake, Tasmanian
Native-Hen, Yellow-throated Honeyeater, Yellow Wattlebird, Green Rosella
Bruny Island - Pink, Dusky, Scarlet and Flame Robins, Black-headed and
Strong-billed Honeyeaters, Blue-winged Parrot ,Tasmanian Scrubwren, Tasmanian
Thornbill, Hooded Plover
Tinderbox - Swift Parrot
Mt Wellington - Scrubtit, Black Currawong, Grey Currawong, Olive Whistler,
Striated Fieldwren
Hobart Airport - Musk Lorikeet
Eaglehawk Neck - Cape Barren Goose, Shy Albatross, Wilson's Storm-Petrel,
Northern Giant-Petrel

Only a quick visit, but picked up all the endemics, plus a few other species
which had been missed on the mainland. It was the end of an epic month or so of
birding during which I recorded around 500 species. Most of the info is in my
older posts, but again, if anyone wants more, please send me an email.

Cheers

Nick Leseberg
