Location: Bullock Hill C.P.
Diamond Firetail (Stagonopleura guttata) (6+) A small flock of at least 6 birds
was observed.They were in low shrubs and Sheoaks around a small dam along the
eastern boundary of the park.
Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus) (1) One flew over paddocks adjacent to
Haines Road.
Tree Martins very numerous (approx. 200) and appeared to be breeding in many of
the Blue Gum hollows in the south-eastern corner of the park.

Location: Clayton,Lake Alexandrina
Little Black Cormorant (Phalacrocorax sulcirostris) (1000+) Huge flock feeding
on the Goolwa side of the regulator,probably feeding on fish trapped there.
Water levels are now back to normal in Lake Alexandrina and bird numbers are
increasing significantly.The Clayton Weir is set to be opened next
week,allowing all the Lower Lakes to be on the same level again.

The male bird was observed singing on the top of a pruned fruit tree from a
distance of 4 meters.

Location: Tolderol Game Reserve Lake Alexandrina.
White-bellied Sea-Eagle (Haliaeetus leucogaster) (1) Juvenile cruising low over
the lake shore (plenty of water) flew out over lake to the West.
