Birdline NT
Published sightings for the week ending 26 Sep 2010.

Shoveler sp.
Brunette Station, Barkly Tablelands
A female shoveler, with orange on upper and lower mandibles (as Northern Shoveler) but lacking white outer tail feathers (as Australasian Shoveler) was present on the waterhole at the main station house from the 22 to 24th Sep. As either species is unusual in NT, I thought it'd be worth reporting. Also present were a pair of Freckled Ducks. Contact the station managers for entry.
