The following is a digest of Sightings Reported on Birdpedia for the period 
Monday, August 23, 2010 to Sunday, August 29, 2010:

Area: SA

Date: Friday, August 20, 2010

Location: Loop Rd, Salt Creek.

Pink Robin (Petroica rodinogaster) (1) One male Pink Robin, came out of the 
Mallee and sat on a post, twice, so I had a good look at him.

I was parked in Camp site 3, Loop Rd.  The weather around was still windy with 
intermitent heavy showers. Soon the Scarlet Robin came by for a look.

Nearby the Mallee Fowl was working his mound.  Is looking close to ready for 
egg laying.

Location: Billiatt CP - near north-western boundary

Striated Grasswren (Amytornis striatus) (3+) At least 3 individuals seen in 
Mallee/Spinifex habitat,near the north-western boundary of the park.The birds 
were not shy,calling frequently and coming within a few metres of us.

Location: Aldinga Scrub Conservation Park

Crested Shrike-tit (Falcunculus frontatus) (4) At least four birds were seen or 
heard in woodland on northern side of reserve, just off Hart Road. Very 
confiding!
