Fri 6 Aug       Cotton Pygmy-goose Greenwood Lakes, Forestdale 
Pair visible from hide.

Tue 3 Aug       Black-breasted Buttonquail Flinders Peak Conservation
Park, Ipswich 
Three male-plumaged individuals were foraging together in vine-scrub
regrowth along the Mt Blaine track.

Sat 31 Jul      Sooty Owl Skywalk track, Tamborine Mountain 
A first for me, really exciting. It was so fabulous.

Long staying bird still present in spit area.

        Sooty Oystercatcher, Hutton's Shearwater, Fluttering Shearwater,
Pacific Reef-Heron North Stradbroke Island 
Sooty Oystercatcher (1): Pt Lookout. Hutton's Shearwater: (2).
Fluttering Shearwater(6): Plus 100+ Hutton's/Fluttering too distant for
separate ID. Pacific Reef-Heron (1): Dark Phase - Pt. Lookout.
