Thanks to Mike and everyone else for replying. The replies seem to be unanimous with it being a Black Noddy. Does anyone know if the Black Noddy is a common or often sighted bird from Sydney? This one is a Black Noddy, adult I suggest. Apart from diagnostic bill shape note that underwings are wholly black whereas in Common Noddy they would be brown and appear paler.
