G'day everyone,

I saw this bird fishing of the Sydney's Northern Beaches yesterday morning.

Initially I thought it to be a Common Noddy as I saw one at that same
location only 2 weeks prior.

But since looking at the images at home, it seems to have some
characteristics that could make it out to be a Black Noddy. But I would like
to get confirmation first before ticking it as I am unfamiliar with all
species of Noddy.

When compared to the picture of the Common Noddy, it's bill is longer,
slender and doesn't have the downward curve at the end.

The following link is to the picture of Common Noddy taken 2 weeks ago.

The following links are to the Unknown Noddy I saw yesterday.

All help is much appreciated,

Mark Young
