Hi John,

I'll be away myself, but a) the CBOC have an outing in the Hawkesbury area on the 13th. Might not be on the web yet, but ck http://www.cboc.org.au/ b) Sydney pelagics are normally 2nd Saturday of the month - that's the day you arrive I think! Ck out http://halicat.com.au/newweb/pelagics.html c) About 3 and a half hours to bottom of Capertee Valley. If you do go somehow, have a look at Mt Tomah and Mt Wilson in Blue Mts for possible Gang Gangs. d) Red Whiskered Bulbuls often in inner subs and Centennial Park. A visitor saw them in the Chinese Memorial Gardens in Darling Harbour, Sydney - very apt!!

good luck,
Peter Madvig
