Hi Greg

That's the suggestion Peter Shute and Michael Norris have made off list. It
sounds too big when I look at the wing spans given in Pizzy but it does seem
the most likely contender.

I'm resigned to knowing that I can't judge size well apparently! :-) Plenty
of time to get better.

Taking things back to flying-foxes (of course). Reports came in from up
around Rockhampton of young last week and this week reports in all Sydney
camps of young being seen. If you are interested in seeing pups being born
and you are on the east coast,  get yourself to your local camp with your
bins and sit down and wait.
