Birdsight users need to be aware that this major upgrade alters the Sightings database so that existing sightings will not be retained after the update. Be sure to save your existing sightings before upgrading if you want to keep them (paraphrased from the iTunes store info).

Looks like there are lots of good changes in this upgrade
