Hi all,
In north-east Victoria (and other parts of the start as well I have heard)
flowering in box-ironbark forests has been very minimal.
In good years when these forests are flowering well Red Wattlebirds can be very
abundant, but I can only think of a couple of sightings in these forests this
winter.
Perhaps many of these birds have headed north to take advantage of the banksia
flowering.
