I love the application. I was out using it in ernest today. I was
adding numbers and notes to the sightings. It is quite fast. I await
the 1st upgrade which will have the Delete species function. I falsely
added a Banded Stilt when I meant Black-winged Stilt. Also I entered
two Olive-backed Oriole entries. My GPS works wonderfully on it. Other
data in the update will be male & female and heard only boxes to tick.
I found the application very fast to use and quick to change numbers
sighted of each species.
I was birding around Burnett Heads near Bundaberg Queensland. Of
interest were 7 Pacific Golden Plovers, 2 in breeding plumage, and a
Black-faced Woodswallow in Coast She-Oak 30 metres from the ocean at
the lighthouse. I normally look for this species inland. We saw 75
species in the couple of hours we were out. I can email the data to
anyone who wishes to see how it comes back to you from the iPhone.
