Peter,

Don't worry, after the Revolution, there will be plenty of space along the wall for them all.

I and some others received a mildly threatening email about it from the owner of a hunting/fishing shop. We're being watched.

Well, that is a fine example of on-line poll rigging. It
certainly shows how spurious on-line polls can be. All they
show is that a certain percentage of respondents agree or
disagree with the question posed. What next, a poll asking if
drunkenness is an acceptable defence for murder or rape? I am
sure that could be rigged just as easily.

I often wonder, when looking at results of on-line or ring-in
polls, if there is any way that staff in the organisations
running the polls can "adjust" the polls to reach a desired result in
such polls.

The current Herald-Sun poll is "Should children be encouraged
to shoot animals?". Currently running at 92% Yes (it's character
building).
