In Queensland Pacific Gulls have been recorded as far north as Redcliff,
while in NSW they have been recorded at Yuraygir, Clarence River (both
north of Coffs Habour), and near Port Macquarie. There's also been quite
a few records from near Sydney, amnd north to about Newcastle.
Generally however (and I'm happy to be corrected about this) they do not
move much beyond Narooma and Bermagui, and are regular seen around Eden.
In Western Australia, by contrast, they are a far more northerly
species, being regularly recorded as far north as Carnarvon - which is
approximately the same latitude as Rockhampton.
