I don't see that contingency ever arising Lorne. 
Crows are more likely to be hit by a plane, can't fly high or fast
enough to jump aboard a satellite, and rarely fly under water.  
 But your question remains, should we tick it if it did . It's still at
the discretion of the observer - even through a sub's periscope.
