I agree, that's why I think Forester's are good for short trips only (less than a month or two). Exposing one to extended "rough" driving, even with a careful driver is probably a big risk. How did your friend end up getting out of trouble? I've been traveling for 10 months and haven't had a major drama yet. I have a HF radio and way too many spares, but I've only had to help other people so far. Jonathan |
