I thought I saw one near Maroochy wetlands on the Sunshine Coast (Qld)
last Sunday but it was only a fleeting glimpse. Has anyone else seen
them on the Sunshine Coast recently?

G'day Birding Ausers
FTS I have received or seen very few sightings of Fork-tailed
Swifts this season. Do you have any sightings to report? I was going
looking for them up the Mitchell Hwy in Qld last week but a little
water changed those plans.
WTNT Plenty of White-throated Needletails in Victoria last week. I
located 20 groups on Thursday and Friday along the Princes Hwy between
Rosedale (Vic) and Narooma (NSW). The larger groups were in Victoria
totalling 620 birds. BUT! coming back to Melbourne yesterday along
the same route I never scored one WTNT. Have they all popped over to
Tassie?
Happy swift watching
Mike
