Further to Peter Shute's email, I had excellent views of the Little Curlew at Werribee about 30 minutes after checking out the Lewin's Rail at Altona. It was foraging actively among dozens of Banded Lapwings (also on the move) about 150m north of the plastic marker (Richard Nowotny's email of y'day refers) but all the birds were gradually heading south (ie, back towards the marker bag) so start your search in that vicinity I guess.
