Hi Greg,
Hopefully, someone will respond with some in depth local knowledge about the
conditions along the Tanami, but for what it is worth I thought I would let you
know that in '95 we were the sole campers in Bell Gorge, off the Gibb River
Road. At around 10 pm, a motorbike arrived ridden by a Swede with his partner
riding pillion. They had ridden the bike up the Tanami Track without incident,
so I guess that, weather permitting, you should be able to get the Forester up
the track.
Regards
Judith
