Thanks Carl for the mention... For anyone who's interested the 2008
Capertee Valley tree planting weekends will be held on 3-4 May and
16-17 August. To register contact Tiffany Mason:
Always a great weekend and everyone is
welcome!
The valley's Regents haven't had a really good breeding season for
about 5 years due to the effects of the drought, so they've never
needed a helping hand more than they do now. Hopefully 2008 will be a
good one. The valley is certainly much greener now after recent rain.
Cheers,
Carol

If you want to see the most benefit from the money you calculate as
being sufficient to pay for a Carbon offset, put it away in an old
sock or under your mattress, and use it to buy trees for a tree
planting scheme and even better use your own labour to help plant
the the trees. I am sure Carol Proberts would welcome your money and
time for tree planting in the Capertee Valley. And you would also be
helping the Regent Honeyeater recovery.
