And speaking of in-blown vagrants I had a discussion with my partner
about dashing around the country twitching vagrants. She obviously
doesn't have the twitching bug to the same extent I do and thinks trips
away for single birds are hardly worth the expense. This came up because
of my recent ( successful) forays to Burren Junction, Darwin, Geraldton
and Whim Creek. The discussion moved to what birds might turn up in the
future and she queried whether I would go for a ship assisted Snow Goose
at Falls Creek . Ship assisted ?

Hi Edwin & Inger,

Aren't these winds predicted to come from inland? Hope you don't get
inundated with Galahs on your boat-trip!

Only joking.....take care, sounds a bit scary!
