As with any taxonomic list it would be out of date on the date of 
publication.  I was surprised that the Osprey was treated as one species 
when it has been shown to be four with Australasian birds being a separate 
species.  The Black-necked Stork is also likely to be split in the next 
edition of Christidis and Boles.
I noted the resurrection of 'Rufous Night Heron' and 'Maned Duck'.  This is 
contrary to Christidis and Boles and I doubt whether they will change them 
in the revision.
