Looking at your photos, there does seem to be whitish flecked
feathers between its eyes but it looks different i think because of
being fluffed up. The juveniles start out alot whiter so i would
assume that it is an older bird rather than younger. But i am
certainly no expert! I have just been looking at some of my own
photos for confirmation. I have photos of a young bird which show the
body and head all white except for large grey "goggles".
Love to hear others thoughts too.

I would be interested in people's interpretation of this bird's
plumage - is it a youngish bird?
