Some years ago we frequently got Gull-billed Terns (a fairly common
inland Tern) around Goondiwindi, in Southern Qld. Could it have been
one of these?

and black eye. On checking the books all I could think it was would
be a
White Tern, but way out of range. Has anyone else seen this bird? Is
there
anyone else in the area who could check and offer a second opinion?
