Thanks to the excellent responses I'm pretty sure it was a Light Morph
Little Eagle. I'd only ever seen one perching or soaring previously
and the body shape and wing profile looked a bit wrong. Clearly not,
as one of the photos sent to me was almost identical to toe profile I
saw. Thanks again one and all.
