Hi all Here's one for the tropical birders! I've heard some tales from Mission Beach way of hungry cassowaries refusing to eat ripe native figs (species undetermined). Fact or fiction? Is there something in the ripe figs of some Ficus species that cassowaries don't like? Any takers?
