Hi Phil and all
Pheasant Coucal is an irregular sighting on both Curra Moors and the
Mt Bass Trail in the Royal National Park.
I've also found Pheasant Coucals to be spread across the northern
beaches area well outside of the Narrabeen area. In fact, I was
watching one call from the top of a Banksia halfway up the "Crown to
the Sea" walk at Newport Beach, just over an hour ago.
