I accepted your challenge, I, as but a novice with a field guide at hand. It looks like it could be a White Bellied Coockoo Shrike or maybe a couple of male Cicada Birds? We shall see what the experts think. My money is on the Male Cicada Birds but it doesnt look like they generally stray into far western NSW, how far west? I'm probably way off the mark but you gotsta try new things!
