Awesome news Rod! It makes the area even more special!!

We certainly hope that this further influences the need to protect this
"significant" part of Sydney.

Hi Rod,

I am a little concerned about your advice about releasing the Ground
Parrot
at Barren Grounds. If the species is attempting to make a comeback to
Malabar then we shouldn't shunt the first one we find off to a place
where
we think it will be better off!

I know you have the best interests of the individual bird at heart but
if
the bird made it to Malabar by its own steam it should be released there

unless it has no chance whatsoever of surviving.

Regards

Greg
