Wondering if anyone can help ? Back in 2000 while working in a vineyard on the edge of the Onkaparinga gorge, i had a kite fly over me at tree-top height which i am almost positive was a Square tail, it had all the right features: paler face, long windowed and fingered wings etc. Problem being it only passed over me once so i didnt have long to confirm it. It would be interesting to know if anyone else has come across this species around this area ? This is one of a few raptors that i havent ticked yet and would like to add it to my list.
Any help with finding this species in S.A. would be greatly appriciated.

Also i am travelling to Wagga in a weeks time and then up to Sydney, any suggustions for good areas to search along the way would be greatly appriciated.

Keep Bird'in

Chris
