G'day Mike, Ricki & Birding Ausers

I never found uniform orientation in bowers of the Satin Bowerbird. But what is not true of one species can be true of another. The fawn- breasted Bowerbird does orient its avenue bower N-S and it has no bright colours or sheens to display. I have measured with a compass many bowers in PNG and will get to publishing those data when I get time.

Cheers

Mike Tarburton
