Many moons ago I enjoyed going to Phillip Island to see the penguins, and on
our last trip in Hobart heard about Bruny Island but the ferries (and
penguins) were not amenable for a day trip. I read about some colony for
viewing in Stanley in the Carnivorous Nights book about 3 Americans looking
for the tassie tiger (and interesting read). I figured this might be
something for my kids to see so I am interested in hearing aobut peoples
experiences view penguins in fairly accessble places (for families) in Aust
and NZ
cheers
Cas
