Tim, They look like Mulga Parrots with interesting, almost iridescent, colouration on the rump. Compare with (if the link works): Mick p.s. - have Mulga's and Eastern Ringnecks been known to hybridise? Mulga's have hybridised with other Psephotus parrots (and Rosellas) and Red-rumpeds have hybridised with Ringnecks (all in aviaries).
