There were also 5 White-throated Needletails at Meroo NP (near Ulladulla)  on the 30th Dec 05.

And spectacular views yesterday of two Square-tailed Kites which spent 15
minutes cruising over backyards at rooftop height where we are holidaying
at Broulee (NSW south coast).  I've seen Square-tailed Kites here
I think every summer since 2000 and they seem progressively less wary
about hunting around houses.  Maybe they are the forerunners of a new
suburban species.
