Hi Glen,

In my early birding  days (early 1990's) my family and I used to holiday at Port Macquarie and I frequently saw R-w B's on vacant land behind the beach north of the caravan park, may be all built on now!

There are heaps of them around Sydney, in Warriewood Wetland on the Northern Beaches they are arguably the most common bird.

Bruce Cox.

I will be in Coffs Harbour Jan 06 - note that Pizzey & Knight reference Bulbul population in Coffs H - I am seeking any local info on where to find ?

Glen Taylor
