Hi all,

I found a single male Painted Snipe whilst spotlighting for frogs near our camp
adjacent the Eromanga-Quilpie Road in SW Qld. I understand records
were requested of this elusive snipe.

I managed a couple of photographs if anyone is interested.

Details....Small shallow grader-drain overflow dam S26deg39'50.5 E143deg21'12.9"
in surrounded by old growth mulga. Tues 27/9/05 at 9pm.....a few Bourke's
Parrots here also.

Cheers,
Bill
