Hi Birders,

The Hudsonian Godwit as reported in the March issue of Wingspan at Penrice Saltfields Adelaide, (see Twitchers Corner p35) is now on show in its usual premigratory roosting spot along with 60-70 Black-tailed Godwits. Up until now it has been rather sporadic and difficult to find over summer. It is fairly easy to pick out as it is one of the few birds that's in breeding plumage. It should be around for at least another two or three weeks if anyone is keen to catch up with it. I've posted a recent photo of the bird on the Australian Bird Image Database but hope to get some better shots soon.

Cheers
David Harper
