Hello all,

While we are on the topic of field guides. Has anybody seen the new Beruldsen Field Guide to Nests and Eggs of Australian Birds? Any observations or recommendations? I'm curious about it but haven't seen it yet.

Cheers

Hi everyone,

Concerning field guides for things other than birds, I'm not sure if anyone's mentioned the brilliant new field guide to Australian butterflies - A Complete Field Guide to Australian Butterflies by Michael Braby, released this October. It's the first compact guide to cover all of Australia's 400+ butterflies, and an invaluable resource in the field for identifying the birds of the insect world.

Regan.
