What a pity that the bird with the most interesting and melodious song is
also the scariest. One drew blood from my head a few weeks ago and a couple
were stalking me only yesterday.

Brisbane City Council publishes material on how to handle Magpie attacks but
so far it's been Butcherbirds only (although a couple of Lapwings wanted me
badly on one occasion).

Is it common for Butcherbirds to be referred to or lumped in with Magpies?
