New bird for my house

Living in Turramurra (N Sydney) and about 8kms to the nearest salt water
(and definitely not in a straight line between any salt water bodies that I
can tell), one of the last species I would expect to add to my house list is
a Black Cormorant, but that's just what I did today as one overflew the
house, heading east (towards the Tasman Sea!) at about 2:15pm.

On another note, the Koels and Channel Billed Cuckoos seem to have recovered
from this year's migration efforts and are now very vocal and active.

Cheers
Tom Wilson
