Hi all,

Western wattlebirds are common around the Zoology building at UWA, c. 3.5 kms from the CBD. We have occasional weebills at the moment too.

You saw a western wattlebird in the CBD?!

Where? I've only found them in quieter bushland areas (Spectacles Wetlands and the south-west corner of Yanchep National Park have been the best). You sure it wasn't just a common red wattlebird?
